A message to the youth: let's change the world! As the tyrants ruling Muslim lands topple even as we write, what used to pass for the status quo no longer appears so unshakeable. We in America have unprecedented opportunities and resources at our disposal; how can we use these to address the problems that our world faces? What solutions does Islam provide to counter inequalities like poverty, hunger, and an increasing gap between the wealthy and poor? How can we become politically involved to foster massive change both here at home in America and across the globe? What should be our response in the face of tyrants and despotism?
Changing the world starts with changing ourselves. What can the American Muslim community do to tackle the issues that divide and separate our communities and masjids? How do we cleanse ourselves of diseases—arrogance, envy, and backbiting—which lead to division? How does a person stay motivated and energized in a world plagued with overwhelming troubles?
All this and more, inshaAllah, at the MSA NW Conference! Everyone is welcome: students, adults, Muslims, non-Muslims. Register now!
